Who am I?
1. Make a self-portrait, asking, "How do I see myself inside and outside?"
2. What roles do I play? Make masks from from paper plates, bags or boxes to answer: "What do I show the world on the outside and what do I keep to myself on the inside?"
3. How do others perceive me, especially God?
4. Create a shield, badges or family crest that depict qualities about yourself.
5. Illustrate your dreams, real ones you have had or hopes for the future.
6. Portray memories, good and bad, inviting Jesus to be in the scene with you.
7. Make a lifeline. This could be drawn vertically, horizontally or in a spiral.
Reflect on significant events and major transitions. Reflect on where God was in those events.
8. Review your day in the same fashion. Where did you feel close to or distant from God?
9. Compose a family tree, network of friends or colleagues at work. What other communities do you belong to? How do you function within these systems? Where do you place yourself in relation to the others?
